Methodology of Balancing

Balanced methodology via the combined Asanas…

The Matsya Asana Posture with variations and proper take-off procedures is a marginal, yes, an additional tool in the kitbox of wellness. Similarly the Dhanur Asana. The bending, perching, stooping, lunging in different directions with speed control but with a flow-rhythm strengthens the core muscles and the entire body mechanism via the element of balancing.

Ustrasana (Camel Pose) is a kneeling back-bending asana in modern yoga as exercise.

Ustrasana (Camel Pose) – Reduces fat in thighs, opens up the hips, stretching deep hip flexors, stretches and strengthens the shoulders and back, expands the abdominal region, improving digestion and elimination, improves posture…

Wellness then is the methodology of balancing.

We try our best to activate Work and Rest. Seems to be paradoxical, but not. Let us operate within limits, levels and learning with leverages. Introspection in Yoga delivers the optimum positive benefits. The sages seers Rishis “Mahaans”of yesteryears have experimented enough with their vigorous precepts which came to the ‘fore’ after they practiced their tapas with yagas and yagnas focusing, contemplating solely for realizing the ‘Highest value of Life Realization’.

Physical and mental balance comes out effectively in Yoga. Stability to control your body during movement, specifically against gravitydrives us further into the practicing of the Asanas.

Flexibility of the body, mind and spirit energy via aerobic movements and Pranayama meditation and proper Asana practices with total dedication always delivers the ‘near-perfect’ expectations. Virtues drive out vices and viruses and their symptoms too ‘in toto’. The chief commander-in-chief-virtue is total surrender to the Supreme God.

The Perfect Dhanur Asana show case – It should be followed by forward bending asana as a counterpoise.

Marginal Preliminaries before Matsya Asana & Dhanur Asana. Marginal is any addition to the Total already existing. Total alignment is vital in any posture in Sage Patanjali’s Yoga Sastra viz. Yoga Sutras. Both poses rejuvenate the bones, joints, muscles, bone marrows, energy channels, pranic vayu momentum, extrication of toxins, and re-activation of the body-mind unifying spirit as well as the reflective, resonating and reverberating, resilience of the whole anatomical structure of a temple-like Deha (body), via Yogic ‘Saadhana‘ (practice).

Yoga Saadhana is the means to let go of ego. personal agendas and attachments and is a discipline undertaken in the pursuit of a goal.

Once we do the prelims with ‘Shraddhaa‘ (dedication/ truth as basis) or total mindfulness, in one with our ‘within-morale’ in addition to our external visible pose variations the yogic science integrates in real terms the physical, psychical and spiritual powers par excellence per se which are more than normal ‘siddhies’ (possessed paranormal power / complete understanding). Hence the divine grace which leads to ultimate ‘Kaivalya’ or invaluable liberation and transcendental bliss of Tejas (power / brilliance) & Ojas (strong one).

Prana is the energy obtained directly from breath. Tejas is the heat produced by the breath. Ojas is the deeper energy obtained when the breath is absorbed. When Prana is deranged, the breath is shallow or disturbed.

Raising the hands up above in tandem and down lowering 3-5 times with a vinyasa momentum of balanced Vajrasana and extending the knees either side in balance is the most sought after marginal prelim for both these Asanas.

Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life.
